**** Our Exclusive, Deep Drop LINKABLE Sticks ****

After many request for Stick Sinkers weighing over 5 Lb., we have
developed new proprietary molds that allow our customers to link our 5
Lb. Deep Drop LINKABLE Stick to any other size Stick we make. All it
takes is a 1/4″ X 1 1/4″ stainless bolt and a nylock nut to link the
Deep Drop Sticks together. Now you can make practically ANY WEIGHT Deep
Drop Stick Sinker you might need.
The photos below show the bottom view of our new design Linkable 5
Lb. Deep Drop Sticks and they illustrate the massive slots, shoulders
and bolt hole. It is extremely strong when linked. The bottom photo
shows just three examples of possible combinations for our Linkable Deep
Drop Sticks. Yes sir, they are strong. We conducted a very simple, but
brutal, durability test on (5) 5 Lb. linked Deep Drop Sticks giving a
final total sinker weight of 25 Lbs.
These were attached by cable to the hitch of my truck. We pulled
them down 4.3 miles of ROUGH gravel roads at 40 to 45 MPH before any of
the eyelets pulled out. For Sure they are TOUGH and the design of the
indents at the bottom keep the bolt and nut from snagging. AND, they are
the same price as our other Deep Drop Sticks per pound.

A Little About our Lead Fishing Sinkers

In the production of our lead fishing sinkers
we use the very best raw materials and components available. Though
the lead used in our fishing sinkers is derived from industrial scrap we
strive to keep our percentage of pure lead in our finished lead fishing
sinkers to as close to 100% as possible.

We are very careful when purchasing our raw
lead scrap and I personally inspect each and every lot that comes into our
lead fishing sinker manufacturing facility. We accept no low quality lead
mixtures that could adversely affect the final quality of our sinkers. The
lower the percentage of pure lead used to make lead fishing sinkers, the
harder and less durable they are.

Hard casting of lead fishing sinkers is
different from using hard lead in the production of lead fishing sinkers.
We use the technique, which has to do with mold versus lead temperatures, in
the production of 90 % of our lead fishing sinkers. The technique
produces a more durable lead fishing sinker and therefore allows you to
catch more fish using our Egg, Bank, Deep Drop Linkable Sticks and Rock Cod
fishing sinkers.

The eyelets used in the production of our
stick type lead sinkers are 100% brass rod custom formed to fit our
molds. They are expensive, but are much less subject to corrosion. Our
Linkable Deep Drop stick sinkers can be used for a variety of purposes. Our
customers off the East coast of the US use the lead stick weights for deep
drop fishing for a variety of deepwater specie. Recently, we have
received orders from captains in Alaska who tell us that our design of lead
stick fishing weights don’t seem to hang up so badly as what they were using
while fishing for halibut.

Our lead fishing sinkers are packed in thick
Bulwark Bags of either 5 or 10 Lbs. In some cases the fishing sinkers cast,
depending on the particular size and shape, will not weigh out at exactly 5
or 10 lbs. per bag and in those cases we mark the bags in pounds and ounces
of exactly what is in the bag. You can always rest assured that you will get
AT LEAST the weight marked on every bag of any of our fishing sinkers. We
use State of Florida certified scales when weighing any of our fishing
sinkers.

Remember to take those kids fishing
